Bartosz Biskup
I’m a legal philosopher working on the philosophy of family law, housing, and social ontology.
I am currently a Max Weber Fellow at the European University Institute in Fiesole, Italy.
I received my PhD (cum laude) in Law from Jagiellonian University in Kraków (2024), with a dissertation that critically analyzed the received view on the right to marry in the European Convention on Human Rights. I received the Polish Prime Minister’s Award for an outstanding doctoral dissertation.
I have a background in both Jurisprudence (PhD, M.A.) and Analytic Philosophy (B.A., M.A.).I am a member of Jagiellonian Center for Law, Language, and Philosophy, and in 2023/2024, I was the Chairperson of the Board of Polish Academic Society Collegium Invisibile
